I’ve been a huge fan of Leo Laporte since the very first podcast of TWiT and have been a faithful listener ever since, for those of you who aren’t familiar with the podcast it stands for “This Week in Tech” and features Leo Laporte, John C. Zero Motorcycles Gets $2,000,000 in Additional Funding

Zero Motorcycles has picked up an additional 2 million in funding for new power-train development, this could be the biggest hint yet that Zero is working on a competitor to the new Brammo Empulse. Brammo just moved directly into superbike territory with the Brammo Empulse electric motorcycle. Featuring a top speed of 100+mph (160+kmph) and a range of between 60, 80 and 100 miles the Empulse has a starting price of just under $10,000 USD, after tax rebates this price tag will come down as low as $7,000 in some US states. Zero Motorcycles Expanding Into Europe
