4 D1G1TAL DR1VE Model Variants On The Way From MotoCzysz

The team at MotoCzysz were kind enough to get back to us on some questions we had about the new D1G1TAL DR1VE system, we had asked if the system could be installed at all four corners of a vehicle to provide independent 4 wheel drive, Michael Czysz’s answer is below;

Currently the D1 can be used on each end (one on front axle and one on rear axle) for a twin system front and rear wheel drive.  The next generation D2 will be a twin motor, one motor per side (right and left) and if double one unit front and one back you will have a full 4 wheel independent drive system. The 2010 Isle of Man TT Zero Race Video

The 2010 Isle of Man TT Zero was a race that, if anything, showed the true promise of the MotoCzysz EP1C pictured above. Looking and performing like a bike that accidentally engaged its flux capacitor and came back in time 20 years the MotoCzysz was dominant throughout the race and passed the other competitors like they were standing still. MotoCzysz Wins The 2010 TT Zero

American electric motorcycle builder MotoCzysz has taken the top step of the podium at this year’s TT Zero race in the Isle of Man, they almost claimed the first ever 100mph lap (average speed) for which the Isle of Man government offered a £10,000 prize for the first team that hits the mark on an electric motorcycle.
