Meet the Black Current III, this highly modified electric Beetle drag racing car can leap from 0-60 in under 3 seconds and can sprint the 1/4 mile in just 11.24 seconds (for comparison’s sake a multi-million dollar Bugatti Veyron does 1/4 mile in 10.4 seconds). Wrightspeed Electric Sports Car Maker Picks Up Further $5 Million Investment

Wrightspeed have picked up a further $5 million in their current round of financing, the company is owned and run by former Tesla employee Ian Wright. The Quant Electric Hyper Car Is Going Into Production In 2011

NLV-Solar AG have announced that they will be pursuing a production run on the jaw-dropping Quant electric hyper car, the original concept was designed by the team at Koenigsegg and was displayed at this years Geneva Motorshow where it won over legions of new fans including Prince Albert of Monaco, Kenzo Takada, Roger Moore and many others. Meet Jesse James’s Electric 1962 Bel Air Drag Racer – This Ain’t Your Daddies Volt
