Hybrid Car Sales Up 10% In October

Hybrid car sales saw a 9.2% leap in October this year, even as car sales overall saw a reduction of 1% over the same time period. Hybrid sales now make up 2.55% of all car sales in the US (about 25,000 per month) and sales are expected to continue their gradual climb as more hybrids become available and associated costs come down.
